Free, weekly, timed 5k run, every Saturday at 9:30am, starting 28th September
Parkrun is coming to St. Anne’s Park, Raheny! Building on the success of the events in Malahide Demesne, Marlay Park and Griffeen Park, this accurately-measured 5k run will be held weekly in the beautiful St. Anne’s Park, Dublin 5.
Supported by Dublin City Council Sport & Active Recreation Section, together with Raheny Shamrocks AC, the parkrun will be an excellent addition to the running scene in Dublin. Whether you’re a speedster, a crawler, or somewhere in between, we warmly welcome you each and every Saturday. You could even bring the whole family, and visit the playground or onsite market afterwards.
Check out the course map, directions, how to sign up, and other details on our dedicated website: http://www.parkrun.ie/stannes/; and ‘like’ us on facebook at ‘St. Anne’s parkrun’ to keep up-to-date. As with all parkrun events, our success depends on volunteers – if you would like to help out, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is parkrun?
Parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k run, held in various locations around the world. Logon to the website: http://www.parkrun.ie/stannes/ to sign up and find out further details. Print off your barcode, and bring it to any parkrun, anywhere in the world. You only need to sign up once – all you need is the barcode! This will ultimately give you a finishing position and time for each run, which will be emailed to you soon after the run. We suggest laminating the barcode to maintain its longevity and ensure it scans correctly at the end of every run, giving you an accurate time. Please note that we cannot scan barcodes on phones.
